Job DescriptionThe senior producer of Syracuse ACCN television productions will lead production department staff, full-time and part-time. Scheduling live events in coordination with ESPN , the ACC , and Newhouse team. Develop original content to support athletics brand and promotions

Liaison with the Newhouse School of Communications to support student learning efforts within the ACCNX productions. Manage department budget in conjunction with the Lead Broadcast Engineer.

QualificationsA four-year degree in the field of communications or video and television productions.

Eight to ten years of live athletics events/game television production experience.

Job Specific Qualifications

The highest standard of video/television production skills in the industry. Work must be on par with broadcasts seen on ESPN , ABC Sports, NBC Sports, and other top athletics broadcast channels.

Must understand college athletics and be able to relate to and guide entry level to professional level employees in all aspects of television production.


Manages full-time and part-time production department staff, including ACC Network staff.

Produce ESPN / ACC Network and ACCNX games that meet and exceed network standards.

Responsible for scheduling live events in coordination with ESPN , Newhouse, athletics facilities, and the ACC .

Work closely with Athletics Department original content creation team to insure brand consistency and integrity.

Liaison with SI Newhouse School of Communications in curriculum-based partnerships in conjunction with the Lead Broadcast Engineer.

Produce and partner with students create more feature stories to run on ACCNX , Cuse.com and sport social media accounts.

Responsible for managing department budget appropriately in conjunction with the Lead Broadcast Engineer.
